Size chart
Even if lengths of a LOWA shoe size are roughly identical, shoes sizes are not standardized. This can result in minor differences in size from category to category and from footwear manufacturer to footwear manufacturer. Furthermore, the shape of the shoe plays an important role in the perception of size. A narrow shape makes the shoe appear smaller, while a wide shape tends to make the shoe appear larger. Of course, your feet also change during the course of your life. As you get older, they get wider and longer. That’s why LOWA recommends you should always try on shoes and check your size in the shop before you buy them.
Your best bet is to try shoes on during the afternoon, as your feet swell a little during the course of the day.
This size chart is meant to be a guide for sizing LOWA footwear. Shoes need to be tried on and fit
with
appropriate socks in order to determine correct size. Please note that we cannot guarantee sizing as
all
feet are unique.
Men's :
Wide = E/EE Narrow = C
Medium = D
Women's: Wide = D Narrow =
B Medium = C
The general rule is to order the same size LOWA Boots as your standard street shoe
size.
NARROW: In a narrow last, the forefoot area has a smaller volume than the same
area in a normal last. Shoes made with an S last can feel more comfortable for people with slimmer
feet.
WIDE: In a wide last, the forefoot area has a greater volume than the same
area
in a normal last. Shoes made with a W last can feel more comfortable for people with special foot
types (such as a bunion, flat foot, fallen arches etc.).
STANDARD: The standard last is best suited for medium-width feet. It is the
jack-of-all-trades among lasts and is used for most LOWA-shoes.
WOMEN'S INJECTED SOLES are in the following boot categories: Hiking, All
Terrain, Everyday, Cold Weather, and Task Force.

Recommended for: climbing 6000m peaks and extreme cold weather climbing.
We collaborated with renowned mountaineer Ralf Dujmovits to develop the Expedition 6000 Evo RD, designed for 6,000 meter peak expeditions. It’s loaded with technical features to keep your feet protected, warm, dry and comfortable at high altitude, including an insulated double boot with reflective-coated technologies to retain valuable body heat. The high outside TIZIP closure on the ceramic-coated fabric gaiter provides essential waterproof protection and durability, and the high wall rubber rand protects against abrasion. Automatic crampon compatible.
