Women are getting into hunting for many of the same reasons that men do –– and some different reasons, as well. However they’re doing, they're increasing their numbers. But even with the growing popularity of hunting, many women don’t know where to start. LOWA Ambassador Lisa Ballard, a self-described “mountain gal” whose career as an award-winning outdoor writer, photographer and television producer led her to hunting, is here to guide the discussion on how women can go from newbie to confident hunter. She'll also share her thoughts on how hunting and conservation can work together in harmony.
